Characteristically in the suburban condition today, a mixture of old and new house, t house situates on the corner of intersection in front of a park,
a pine grove and cherry blossoms in the distance. By accepting the given environment honestly, our design was developed. Facing to the intersection,
there is a window of unfamiliarly large size along the winding staircase, so that residents feel more surroundings through everyday behavior of going up and
down the stairs. We aimed to make people be more conscious of the movement itself physically and visually by making good use of the winding staircase and
a pink-grapefruit colored sidewall, and realize the expanse of space more than the actual floor area. Not just a place to stay in comfort,
the winding staircase becomes a turning point in their feelings. At sunset, a faint glow of the pink-grapefruit color would attract and impress people passing by.
